“Hello, I’m Yolande Kouznetsov, Artistic Director of the Beaune Piano Fest association, and I’m delighted to introduce our upcoming show: Piano Tales.
Piano Tales is a performance that combines piano music with visual arts. Together with Isabelle, we’ve created a full scenography featuring paintings, fabrics, suspended dresses, and video projections. You’ll see Isabelle painting a portrait that will evolve throughout the music.
This portrait will also be interspersed with AI-generated images, all designed to offer you a unique moment of poetry and magic.
Don’t forget to book your tickets! The show will take place on February 15 and 16 at the Chapelle Saint Étienne in Beaune. Tickets are available on our website: www.beaunepianofest.fr.
See you soon!”
An innovative show where visual arts and music blend for a poetic and immersive experience.
Piano Tales is a unique journey into the heart of the human soul, where music and visual art come together to tell timeless stories. This performance, designed to touch and amaze, explores universal emotions through a rich and varied repertoire, ranging from Chopin to Prokofiev, with Mompou in between.
In a scenography full of poetry – fabrics, suspended dresses, and dimmed lights – each note played on the piano is intertwined with a captivating stage design. Video projections on fabrics and dresses bring the space to life, creating a true “human forest” around the piano. These visual elements enhance the evocative power of the music, transporting the audience into a dreamlike universe.
